Youth Summer Camps

    Stay Engaged This Summer

    Get ready for an exciting summer of learning, creativity, and innovation! Baker College is proud to offer dynamic summer camps designed for elementary, middle, and high school students. These immersive, hands-on programs will challenge students to think critically, solve problems, and explore their passions.

    With small class sizes (maximum 25 students per camp), expert instructors, and access to top-tier facilities, these camps provide an incredible opportunity to dive deep into various topics in a fun and engaging way!

    Summer camps will be offered on either the Owosso or Royal Oak campuses depending on the camp type and topic. Baker College Royal Oak is proud to partner with DAPCEP.

    Biology Science Camp: From Cells to Animals

    This hands-on science camp introduces students to the fascinating world of biology—from microscopic cells to complex animal life! Campers will engage in interactive experiments, lab work, and a science fair while exploring topics such as genetics, ecosystems, and biomedical science.

    For 6th–8th Grade Students

    Pathways to Greatness

    Earn college credit while discovering your potential.

    The Baker College High School Dual Enrollment program allows students to earn college credit while completing their high school education. Through courses like SCI 2710 – Environmental Science, students explore ecological systems, human impacts on the environment, and sustainable solutions using scientific methods and hands-on investigations. In ENG 2410 – Creative Writing, students develop their voice and storytelling skills through the study and practice of poetry, fiction, and personal narrative, strengthening critical thinking and communication skills.

    This program provides motivated students with an early college experience that enhances both academic readiness and personal growth.

    For 10th–12th Grade Students

    Dates: Mondays–Thursdays, 6/29/26–8/6/26
    Times: 9 a.m.–Noon
    Location: This camp will be offered on both the Baker College Owosso and Royal Oak campuses.

    Boys and Girls Basketball Camp

    Our week-long youth basketball camp is a fun and energetic experience designed to help young players learn, grow, and enjoy the game. Campers will build basketball skills through age-appropriate drills, games, and friendly competition, all led by encouraging coaches. Each day focuses on teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship—helping players develop on the court while making new friends and having a great time.

    For 4th–5th Grade Students

    Baker Bees Summer Hive

    A six-week middle school summer program blending structured academic skill building with engaging, hands-on learning. Academic instruction emphasizes literacy (reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing) and mathematics (problem solving and reasoning). Students also participate in STEM enrichment through project-based activities, including critical-thinking challenges using LEGOs to explore engineering, design, and biology life sciences, and fun field trips.

    Esports Camp

    The Baker College Esports camp introduces students to competitive gaming while developing teamwork, strategy, and critical-thinking skills. Students learn game mechanics, tactical decision-making, and effective communication in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The course also emphasizes digital wellness, leadership, and an understanding of the growing Esports industry, preparing students for both competition and potential career pathways.
