Demonstrating leadership and excellence in business education, Baker College and Dr. Na “Lina” Li, Dean of Graduate Business Programs, made a powerful impact at the 2025 International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) Annual Conference (IACBE) Annual Conference, held in Indianapolis, IN, April 2–5.
Baker College was recognized for achieving reaffirmation of its IACBE accreditation—a reflection of the institution’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence in business education.
As a member of the IACBE Board of Commissioners, Dr. Li collaborated with fellow commissioners to make key accreditation decisions and uphold the council’s high standards. Elected to the Board in 2024, Dr. Li previously served as a site visit team member and chair for four years. She is now serving a three-year term helping to advance the organization’s mission.
“At Baker College, we are deeply committed to advancing the standards of business education. Serving on the IACBE Board of Commissioners is both an honor and a responsibility I embrace wholeheartedly,” said Dr. Li. “It’s a privilege to contribute to a community that champions innovation, integrity, and academic excellence.”
During the conference, Dr. Li was named Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners, further elevating her leadership role within IACBE. Additionally, she served as a judge for the Peregrine Best Practices Poster Contest and attended multiple sessions focused on emerging trends and innovations in business education.
