The Esports Club is made up of students that want a competitive experience without the full time commitment that varsity esports require. It’s a great way to get involved in competitive gaming and to make friends, while also being a part of something bigger than yourself.

Baker’s varsity esports team, The Swarm, brings together the most talented players from across the globe. The Swarm competes in some of the top collegiate esports leagues and conferences, like the College VALORANT (CVAL) season, the National Association for Collegiate Esports (NACE), the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC), and more!

Esports Facility

The Esports Lab at Baker’s Royal Oak campus is a top-of-the-line facility with some of the best computers, accessories, and equipment. The lab is fully equipped with 16 MSI Aegis RS desktop computers, a PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It is open 24/7 for students.

Earn Your Esports Degree at Baker

From iconic stadiums to cutting-edge virtual arenas, both esports and sports management events require a distinct blend of skills. The Bachelor of Science in Sports and Esports Management is uniquely tailored for students to gain insight into pivotal areas such as event planning and management, esports and sports marketing, and innovative digital fan engagement.

As graduates, students will be equipped to work with teams, leagues, sponsors, and broadcasting entities.

Esports Scholarships for Gamers

Esports Club and Varsity Team members may be eligible for an activity-based scholarship. Enjoy playing games while potentially reducing your tuition costs even further.
